Receptionist

Receptionists greet our clients with smiling faces, answer our phones, and assist with clinic administration and secretarial work. Ideally, we are looking for volunteers willing to work one day (11am – 5pm) at least every two weeks.

Client Support Worker

Client support workers work directly with clients to provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Crisis and support training is provided.  A background in human services or equivalent experience is an asset.

Registered Nurse

Nurses provide pregnancy tests and pregnancy education to clients, as well as screening for Sexually Transmitted Infections and education on STIs. Ideally, we are looking for volunteers who could be available for at least one or two shifts a month. Must have current professional license.

Event Volunteer

Event volunteers work with admin staff and volunteers to organize fundraising and community awareness events. If you have an interest in planning, executing, or decorating for an event, this position could be for you.

Community Education Presenter

Community Education Presenters are volunteers who present Crossroads’ educational programs in schools to students and volunteers to present education sessions to agencies and community groups of adults. A background in health care or education is an asset, but not a requirement.

Prenatal Instructor or Birth Coach

Prenatal instructors or birth coaches work directly with clients to teach prenatal classes and/or attend births as a coach.  Medical experience an asset.

Board Member

Become part of the team that sets vision and governs the clinic. Entails a time commitment of around 3-6 hrs per month (for a monthly board meeting (approx. 2 hrs/month) and committee work.
