Executive Director (30 hrs/week, negotiable)

Position overview

The Executive Director (ED) is a position of Christian ministry leadership and fulfills a significant role by ensuring the day-to-day operations of the clinic are effectively carrying out the vision and mission of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED ensures a high standard of care for clients, acts as the public face of the ministry, safeguards the healthy functioning of legal and financial aspects of the organization as well as develops clinic personnel to their full potential through ensuring technical competence, mentoring and spiritual example (in alignment with organizational values). The Executive Director is hired, evaluated and replaced at the discretion of the Board.

Applicant Requirements:

• Expresses full agreement with Clinic’s Purpose, Mission and Vision Statements, the Sanctity of Human Life Statement, the Statement of Faith and Core Values.
• Expresses full agreement with Clinic’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and Lifestyle Standards Policy.
• Experience as a staff or volunteer in some ministry capacity.
• Has obtained a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as health care, social work, business administration, communications, community development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Demonstrates spiritual maturity including leadership experience with a Christian organization.

Registered Nurse (8-12 hrs/week, negotiable)

Position overview

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) fulfills a key role in supporting the healthcare services at the clinic. Under the supervision of the Nurse Team Lead and the Clinical Director, the
Clinic RN participates in collaborative case management with the Client Services Director to ensure clients receive physical, emotional, and spiritual care that is evidence based and
trauma informed. The Clinic RN ensures that all clients with healthcare needs that are beyond the scope of the clinic RNs are referred to an appropriate healthcare provider.

This is a part-time, weekday, permanent position with opportunities for advancement and expansion of scope.

Applicant Requirements:

• Holds an active registered nurse’s license in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have good critical thinking skills and be able to work independently
• Experience in supporting diverse client populations is an asset
