Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing
Sexually-transmitted infections (STIs) can have serious effects and sometimes there are no symptoms at all. Get tested!
Crossroads Clinic offers free on-site STI screening. The testing is non-invasive, quick, and results are typically received within a week. Treatment for most common STIs available on-site. Same-day appointments often available.
Pregnancy Tests
We offer urine pregnancy tests at no charge and our health care professionals can confirm your pregnancy. Through clinical history and assessment, they may also be able to assess for pregnancy viability, pregnancy location and provide an estimation of how far along you are in your pregnancy.
Pregnancy Options Support
Pregnancy wasn’t part of the plan. You have some important decisions ahead of you. We will listen and offer information so that you can make an informed choice.
Pap Testing
Cervical cancer is common and can be prevented by regular screening. Pap testing is typically recommended every 3 years after the age of 25. Bring your provincial health care card and ID. Must avoid intercourse and douches, lubes, or jellies for 24 hours before your appointment and not be on your period.
Contraceptive Education
Nurses provide one-on-one contraceptive education and options support, helping clients make informed choices about contraceptives based on their preferences and situation. Clients are referred to their primary care provider for all ongoing care including contraceptive prescriptions.
Sexual Trauma Support
We offer confidential, compassionate support for those who have experienced sexual trauma or abuse, whether recently or in the past.
Pregnancy Loss Support
We offer pregnancy loss support for those experiencing distress as result of pregnancy loss, whether by miscarriage or abortion. We can offer support and programming to help you recover.
Healthy Relationship Coaching
If you need help picking a good partner, or are currently in or have been in a difficult dating relationship, Crossroads Clinic offers support and programs to suit your needs.
Prenatal Education Classes
Expecting? New to parenthood? We offer free education classes which encompass prenatal, birth, and postnatal periods. Individual sessions to suit your schedule (can be done with a partner or support person).
Grief & Loss
Learn tools to grieve so that you can pursue emotional wholeness. Release your emotional pain and move beyond loss with this 8 week (approx.) program.
Rooted: a Single Moms’ Group
